Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder aim to offer quality education and care and lay the foundation for development and learning. Not only that, but our teachers are passionate and it is evident in everything they do. EXCEEDING NATIONAL STANDARD

Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder holds the prestigious rating of ‘Exceeding National Quality Standard’. This is a rare and revered rating level from the National Quality Framework and is an assessment applied to all long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten, and outside school hours care services.

This rating is awarded by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Education and care services are assessed and rated by the Victorian Department of Education and Training.

What does this mean?

It means that our service goes beyond the requirements of the National Quality Standard and Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder exceeded in all seven quality areas. It means that our staff and committee go above and beyond to be the best kinder we can. We work hard to excel and always aim to achieve ‘best practice’ over minimal legislative requirements.

EXEMPLARY TEACHER

Connie Solty - Our Educational Leader has the rare classification of ‘exemplary’ for teachers, through the VETASSESS’ Early Childhood Teacher Validation Department.

NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATION

Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder is a not-for-profit organisation. That means we do not operate for profit or personal gain. Any profits made are used for the kinder purpose.

Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). The ACNC are the independent national regulator of charities who maintain, protect and enhance public trust and confidence in organisations such as ourselves. Meaning, we demonstrate that we meet the not-for-profit requirements to the ACNC and that we need to report to them and continue to prove we are a not-for-profit organisation. EARLY LEARNING ASSOCIATION AUSTRALIA MEMBERSHIP

Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder is a member of the Early Learning Association of Australia (ELAA). ELAA is the national peak body which champions excellence in early learning for children. Through ELAA, Yarra Warra is accountable to excellent standards. Our preschool also receives the added benefit of professional learning and development programs, training for our parent volunteer Committee of Management, management resources and consultancy services.
