Kindergarten Enrolment
Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder is located in the shire of Nillumbik. This council operates a central enrolment program for most kinder programs in the municipality.
The council preschool enrolment team will collect enrolments and place children into kinders on a priority basis and parent's preference options. Yarra Warra is not able to take children directly into our service - all enrolments must go through council.
Preferences are given to children who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, are known to Child Protection or from a refuge background. Other preferences are given to children who have completed their 3 year old year at Yarra Warra, or have had siblings attend. Finally preference is given to families for whom Yarra Warra is their closest kindergarten, and live in Nillumbik.
