Yarra Warra Preschool and Bush Kinder is a sessional kinder which runs 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten programs. Our kinder kids enjoy a play based learning program, guided by the National and Victorian Early Years Frameworks, the Reggio Emilia approach and our community.
The aim of our preschool program is to develop the whole child - socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Our play based programs are designed to encourage children to build upon personal experiences, to create new understandings and skills. Learning through play also allows for the expression of individual personalities whilst creating opportunities to develop positive interpersonal skills and a sense of wellbeing and community.
Our 2023 programs consist of:
The program for 2024 will consist of 15 hours of free kinder as follows:
Timetable is subject to change and will be confirmed in term 4 of 2023

Children’s interests, ongoing assessments and reflective practices also guide the direction of the curriculum and to cater for individual and group needs. Frequent parental and community collaboration also enhance our programs and help consolidate the link between the children and their community.
Our sessional kinder is a rare gem in the early childhood education system. Sessional kinder programs offer many benefits to your child, including more focus on your child's development and making friends in their community.
